At seven weeks old we will evaluate each puppy using the AviDog Aptitude test. We hold the first spot of every litter for our breeding program until the evaluations are completed. When the puppies complete testing, we select the litter reservation list in the order deposits were received, matching puppies and families during week 8.

There are often a few puppies in a litter that would be a good fit for a family, so at that point, the family is given the opportunity to select their puppy from those puppies we feel are a match.

If you need a second look before deciding, we can arrange to make that happen, rather it be by FaceTime, Google Duo, or in person. Once you and your puppy have been matched, the balance of the payment is due within 24 hours.

We hope that all of our families with be able to come directly to Desert Diamond Labradoodles to pick up their new puppy, because there is so much to discuss before taking your puppy home. During the pickup we will go over basic care, grooming, and any questions you may have! 

If you’re unable to pick up your puppy from Desert Diamond, we can prearrange to have your puppy flown in cabin, with a Diamond Nanny, and be hand delivered to you at your local airport. This is an additional charge.

You can also fly into Sky Harbor Airport (Phoenix) and a Diamond Nanny will have your puppy ready for you to fly home in cabin.  In addition, the Diamond Nanny can spend time with you at the airport (about an hour), to go over any questions or concerns.  Currently there is no charge for this service.

Once puppies are born we will notify families and request that you place a $500.00 refundable deposit to secure your spot. The deposit is applied to the total cost of your puppy which is due once you have selected your puppy (around week 7).

Venmo, Zelle, or cash are accepted payment methods. Puppies will be ready to go home at eight weeks of age!
